Brief:
On June 8th, 2005, Ingela received an enquiry from K. Levent Kitapci, a thoroughbred racehorse owner, racing in three cities and owner of a stud farm totalling about 50 horses in Istanbul, Turkey.
As of 29th May 2005, Wolf’s Son, his top horse, had been prohibited from racing for 1 month, due to the behaviour he had been displaying at the starting stalls as well as injuring three jockeys. This had accumulated from many negative experiences he had had since starting a racing career at the age of two. Upon recommendation from a racing contact from the USA, K. Levent Kitapci contacted Ingela.
Ingela worked with Wolf’s Son for the three days prior to him running a test race to be allowed to run again. He passed.
On 22nd September Wolf’s Son ran in the Irish Trophy, his first race since the ban. He won first place €96,500, finishing ahead by 3 lengths.
